Construction Manager — Major Onshore Energy Project
Our client, the energy division of a major UK Principal Contractor, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for an 18-month EPC engagement on a major new build energy project in the South West of England. 🏗️
Responsibilities
✅ Line-manage all site construction personnel and subcontractors within the Project Leadership Team
✅ Report to the Senior Project Manager and deliver the construction scope safely, on programme and to quality
✅ Manage construction works under CDM, coordinating activities adjacent to live operational assets
✅ Support commissioning and entry-into-service activities
Ideal Background
✔️ 15+ years' Construction Manager experience on large-scale EPC projects
✔️ Background in major energy or heavy engineering infrastructure; piping or process experience in safety-critical environments considered
✔️ NEC contract experience
✔️ SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification
✔️ Full UK driving licence
